Bike Preparation & Safety Checks
The full pre-track day inspection, top to bottom — rubber, brakes, lights, oil and filter.
Track Day
Pre-track day inspection and set-up, so the only limiting factor will be your skill, not the machine.
The pre-track day inspection is a proper going-over, not a glance. Have you got enough rubber? Are the brakes up to standard? Did you remember to take your lights off? What about an oil change, or a new air filter? We work through all of it so nothing sends you home early.
Enough rubber left for the day, and set for track use.
Pads, discs and fluid checked; calipers stripped and lubricated as they are inspected.
Lenses removed or taped to meet standard circuit requirements.
Fresh oil and a clean filter before a day of sustained high revs.
A road set-up and a track set-up are not the same thing. We go through the bike so it behaves the way you need it to when you are carrying speed and leaning it over, and we talk you through what we have changed and why.
Drivetrain checked and replaced where needed — and gearing discussed for the circuit you are riding.
New tyres at competitive prices, fitted and balanced — and in our experience it is difficult to ride a bike with the wheels off, so they go on while you wait.
Power Commander or Bazzaz systems supplied, fitted and custom-mapped for your bike.
Levers and indicators replaced where they are needed, and the controls set where you want them before you get out there.
Track use is hard on an engine, and the work does not stop when the bike comes off the trailer. Engine rebuilds are normally taken on over the winter, and with TEXA diagnostic equipment on site we can find and fix the faults that would otherwise cost you a day.
Carried out in-house on the bench, with the machine measured and put back together properly.
The latest diagnostic tools on site for fault finding when something is not right.
A look over the bike after a day out, so anything that has moved gets caught early.
You bend 'em, we mend 'em — insurance work or paid privately.
SNS run a track day bike, so you know you are in experienced hands. Everything we recommend, we have already had to sort on our own machine — which is a very different thing from reading it out of a manual.
We understand what a bike goes through on a circuit because we take one out there ourselves.
Irrespective of your bike's manufacturer, SNS has had training there.
If there is expensive work needed, you will know before it is started.
Whether it is your first track day or you are chasing lap times, we set the bike up around you.
Our Approach
We live and breathe track days. Whether it is your first time on circuit or you are chasing your next personal best, we provide the preparation and the experience to give you confidence in the bike underneath you.
